Ask a Random Quesion (or not) and Get a Random Answer

You people are probably looking at some of the other pages and wondering about some of the stuff you see, ne? Like, just what the hell is the eye of chaos? Don't worry, I'll explain some of that here. Can't say too much, though. Wouldn't want to give away spoilers. ^.-

What is the eye of chaos?

The eye of chaos is a magical pendant. It grants the bearer immortal youth and a sizable amount of magical power and increasted staminia and strength. In other words, it's a powerful relic that is very dangerous. It does require its bearer to bind their soul to a different inanimate object, though. In the case that they are seperated from the eye they become imprisoned in that object, their body dying without contact from the eye.

What is going on in this story?

Lots of things I can't say due to spoilers . . . but . . . basically Rhyden and his friends are sent along to find and destroy the eye of chaos. The only problem is . . . it was supposed to have been destroyed one-hundred years ago along with the Sorceror-Knight Andaevian . . . so they have no clue where to look. Along with that are the evil people also looking for the eye.

So, who exactly is Andaevian, is he actively in the story?

Andaevian is a Sorceror-Knight who lived one-hundred years prior to the storyline. He was the last known person to possess the eye of chaos and disappeared on a supposed trip to destroy it. Will he be in the story? Hmm . . . he went away one-hundred years ago and hasn't been heard from . . . what do you think?

If I think of other non-spoilerish stuff to include I will add it.

Random Bits of Information About the Character's Names

Rhyden Hyrine: Rhyden's last name was, in fact, inspired by Hyrule, the name of the land in the Legend of Zelda series. I
kid you not. Though it was originally spelled Huyrine (which is more how it's pronounced), as some may have noted from the
oldest picture in the gallery . . . .

Journie Destin: There's nothing that interesting about Journie's name, except an odd little word association I came up with in
a fit of hyperness during an AIM conversation:

Journie Destin = Journey Destin = Journey Destiny = Journey to Destiny

Since any story and life itself is sort of a journey to one's destiny I found that amusing. I was also too tired at the time for my own good, that could also have a part.

Pigeon: *shrugs* I'm still trying to figure out how I came up with this one.

Adrius: Adrius' name actually does have a story. It was inspired by (actually modified from) the name Atrius, which I came across in the Myst series (both books and games) and fell in love with ^^

Andaevian Lucine: *shrugs* I just made up both names. Completely taken from my head.

Aesirian: Aesirian actually was inspired by the Norse god Aesir.

Remus Olean: I like Remus Lupin of Harry Potter a bit too much, okay? ><;;; Though I think that they pronounce Lupin's name "ree-mus" rather than the odd way I choose to say my Remus' name (ray-mus).

Gerard: Honestly, it was the first name that came to me when it was time for his character to enter. Although, I did associate the Gerard from the Amber Chronicles, which I've recently discovered and read, right after. So, it's sort of inspiration.
